Plan with the right local date and time

India is 30 minutes ahead of Pakistan under current rules. This page starts with New Delhi and Karachi so the live converter and first two planner rows compare the countries you selected.

Guidance reviewed October 31, 2026. Live clocks use your device clock and time-zone data; this is not an official synchronized time service.

A half-hour difference, not a full hour

India uses Indian Standard Time at UTC+5:30; Pakistan currently uses UTC+5. Add 30 minutes to Pakistan time to get India time, or subtract 30 minutes when converting the other way. Neither country has a seasonal clock change under the current rules.

For a 14:00 Pakistan appointment, someone in India joins at 14:30 on the same date. If both participants aim for a 09:00–18:00 local day, 09:30–17:30 in India is a possible starting window; confirm working days, breaks and the full meeting length with them.

Do not lose the date at midnight

A 00:15 appointment in India is at 23:45 in Pakistan on the previous date. A message saying only “after midnight” can therefore leave the two participants looking at different calendar days. Send both dates and city names.

New Delhi represents India's current national clock and Karachi represents Pakistan's. Use the country guides below to choose another listed city without changing the applicable national time rule.

Use the preselected tools

The converter starts with New Delhi and Karachi. The first two meeting-planner rows use the same cities; Dubai is the optional third location. Change any city if needed. Enter the meeting date and time in the device time zone displayed under the input, then read the same column across rows. The planner does not create or send calendar invitations.
