Understanding UAE time
The United Arab Emirates has one national clock. Choose the city relevant to your plans above; switching between the listed Emirates changes the location on the globe without changing the time.
Guidance reviewed September 14, 2026. Live times follow your device clock and time-zone data.
One time zone across the Emirates
The UAE uses UTC+4 under current rules, without a summer clock change. Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah use the Asia/Dubai time-zone identifier. Seeing Dubai in a calendar setting is therefore appropriate even when your appointment is in Abu Dhabi.
For a day involving several Emirates, keep the same local clock throughout your itinerary. Allow for journey time separately: equal time zones do not mean that two venues are close together.

Coordinating with Pakistan
Pakistan is one hour ahead of the UAE under current rules. A 20:00 call from the UAE reaches Pakistan at 21:00; a late 23:30 UAE call reaches Pakistan at 00:30 on the following date.
For a shared daytime appointment, 10:00 in the UAE corresponds to 11:00 in Pakistan. Use this as a starting proposal and ask the other person about availability. The planner’s colour highlighting assumes 09:00–18:00; it does not know anyone’s actual schedule.
Build a schedule for the right date
Select your UAE city above, then choose the other location in the converter for a comparison right now. For a future call, select the other cities in the meeting planner and enter a date and time in the device time zone named below that field.
Read all cities down one table column to compare the same moment. Include both the local date and city in the invitation, especially for an evening call. The planner helps you compare; you create and send the invitation in your calendar.
| Appointment | UAE time | Pakistan time |
|---|---|---|
| Daytime call | 10:00 | 11:00 · same day |
| Evening call | 20:00 | 21:00 · same day |
| Late call | 23:30 | 00:30 · next day |
Calculated using UAE UTC+4 and Pakistan UTC+5 under current rules.
Questions about UAE time
Are Dubai and Abu Dhabi in different time zones?
No. They share the UAE’s UTC+4 clock. You do not adjust your clock when travelling between them.
Why does my difference from the UAE change in summer?
Your other location may observe daylight saving even though the UAE does not. Compare the actual meeting date when planning with a city such as London.
